On the First (1st)Thursday in every month, the Hugh Rainey Jazz Band hold and manage their own Jazz Club which is held in the Sports & Social Club Hall withinin the grounds of Runwell Hospital near Wickford (just off the A132 as you go through Runwell) Essex. Only 10 minutes from the A12 / A13 / A127
Listen or dance to hot jazz, with a great club atmosphere and a fully licensed bar 8.30pm to 11pm.
Car Park, comfortable seating, a warm welcome, great dance floor, raffle, and an excellent club bar - AND FANTASTIC MUSIC!!

The club was formed back in 1996 and has a strong following and large club membership.
Theme nights are one of the bands "specialities" where it focuses an evening of Jazz based on a particular famous artist from the golden era of Jazz.
